New primary school building | Bauhausplatz Munich

The city of Munich recently finished four new primary school buildings on four different city locations by the same time. It is the reaction on the increased demand for educational facilities in a still growing city. Among these realized buildings is the new primary school at the “Bauhausplatz” in Munich-Schwabing/Freimann. Main concept of the schools is a modular system based on the idea of the „learning-house concept“, developed by the architectural office Wulf Architekten (Stuttgart).

The new five-track school provides space not only for teaching but also a full-time children’s’ care after school service. Additionally a triplex gymnasium and outdoor sporting fields are created as well as a children’s house for toddlers and kindergarden-kids.
